Do you purchase books for review requests?
No. The Modern Folio is a free resource for readers, authors, and writers, and I do not charge for reviews or features. Because of this and the fact that the blog is independently run, I am unable to purchase books for review consideration. If you would like to submit a title for review, please provide a review copy in a format I accept as outlined in the book review policy (found above).
Do you charge for book reviews or other features?
No. The Modern Folio does not charge authors, writers, or publishers for book reviews, interviews, or other standard features. The blog was created as a free resource to celebrate literature, support writers, and connect readers with new stories.
Am I experienced enough to be featured on The Modern Folio?
Yes! The Modern Folio welcomes writers at every stage of their journey – from first-time writers and hobbyists to indie and traditionally published authors. If you have a love for storytelling and/or something you’d like to share, there’s a place for you here.
